I live in Tornado Alley in Northeast Oklahoma in a rural area outside the range of audible alarms. I have my own weather station that uploads to the Internet every few minutes and I have purchased a dozen weather apps because I need to know what is going on. MyRadar is the finest application I have found to date at any price to get fast accurate radar feeds. The application is overlaid on a very high resolution map that pinpoints my exact location so I can quickly see where the severe weather is relative to my house. I upgraded to the pro version to get rid of the ads and upgraded to get the pushed alerts as well. This is the first application I go to when I need good radar fast. The small fees to upgrade are not relevant when it comes to protecting myself, my family and my neighbors.

Now, in addition to the temperature badge, you can set up the app to notify you of any changes in the weather as they happen, right in the Lockscreen and Notification Center.

It works really easy. We have Notification Setting that allows you to receive a Popup/Banner alert from our Push Server. This alert will also appear in the Notification Center and Lockscreen to show the temperature of the last update. You can set the number of notifications as you prefer (max 1, max 5 etc) in the iPad/iPhone general settings.
