How to Reply to an email with a Signature

To use your email signature when replying to an email, do the the following:

1) Hit the reply button in Apple Mail
2) Exit Apple Mail by using the Menu button (the hardware button at the bottom of your iPhone)
3) Run the Email Signature app, and select your signature
4) Your selected signature will be inserted into the reply email
5) Compose and send the email as normal

Note: follow the same procedure to forward an email.

This process is required due to the limitations that Apple applies to ALL Third Party applications, Email Signature Pro included.

Add a banner to your Signature

Based on customer feedback, Signature Pro has been updated to allow you to add an image after each signature. Many business people like to add a logo or a banner to the end of their signatures. We recommend images that are wide rather than high. e.g. 320 wide by 60 high.

e.g.

Each of these images can be assigned a custom link or url that will take the recipient to a web page of your choice.

So I LOVE – truly, madly, deeply – Signature from IdeasUnplugged

That's the way Chrisa described Signature at iPhone App Review. We get quite a few emails from our raving fans that often use "Love" and "Signature" in the same sentence. But it's great to see it out there on an independent site.

We're thrilled and hope more people get to try Signature. I'm sure they'll feel the same way too!

Signature - Facebook integration

Recently Facebook changed the way anyone accessing public pages on Facebook via their iPhone. Anyone trying to access a public profile page with a claimed name is prompted with a login page. Apparently, they require you to login before accessing these pages. However, while the url they create suggests that they take you to the page you requested after logging in, they do not do so.

New release of Signature and Signature Lite

Signature and Signature Lite has just received major updates and are now available in the AppStore. Biggest feature is the ability to use an image from your iPhone camera or from your photo album.

Associating a signature with a particular email account

Like us, many of you have multiple email accounts. Yes, it would be cool if we could associate a signature with a particular email account.

Unfortunately, NO Third Party application on the iPhone has the ability to select a specific email account. Whenever Signature launches your Mail Application, it ALWAYS sets the email account to the default one. We agree, this is annoying!

To select another email account when you are in the email compose screen, tap on the From: field and it will allow you to choose a different email account to use to send the email.

Why do I need to use a Web image?

There have been a lot of requests to embed images rather than use a web image. We would love to too! Here's why we had to choose web images.
